For UK wedding venues
Couples post their date, guest count and budget. You bid on the ones that suit your venue and your empty dates. No subscription, no annual fee, and nothing at all unless you choose to bid.
These are real couples who have posted their date, guest count and budget and are waiting for venues to bid. Right now there are almost no venues competing for them. You pay 1% of the couple's stated budget only when you choose to bid, nothing to list, and nothing if you never bid.
See the weddings waitingAdd your rooms, capacities and photographs. There is no listing fee and no subscription at any point.
Every request shows the date, guest count, budget and requirements upfront. Ignore the ones that do not fit.
Send a tailored proposal for 1% of that couple’s stated budget. If you never bid, you never pay anything.
Nothing to list, and nothing unless you bid. When you choose to bid on a wedding, you pay 1% of the budget that couple has stated. On a £15,000 wedding that is £150 to put a tailored proposal in front of a couple who have already told you their date, their guest count and what they can spend.
A directory charges an annual subscription and then waits for couples to find your listing. Here the couple has already described their wedding and is waiting for proposals. You are not paying for visibility, you are paying to compete for a specific, named-budget wedding, and only the ones you want.
No. We cap the number of venues that can bid on any one request so the couple gets a manageable shortlist and each bidding venue has a genuine chance. At the moment there are far more open weddings than there are venues bidding on them.
Then you have spent 1% of their budget on a proposal that did not land, which is materially less than most venues spend per enquiry through directories or paid ads, and you keep the market intelligence about what couples in your area are budgeting.
You are responding to a brief that already contains the date, guest count, budget and requirements. Most venues can put a considered proposal together in a few minutes because there is no discovery call needed first.
VenueVows is new. We are not going to claim a network of thousands of venues, because we do not have one, and if you have been sold that before by a directory, you already know how little it meant.
What we do have is couples posting real weddings with real budgets and almost nobody bidding on them. For a venue with dates to fill, being early is the entire advantage: less competition per request than you will ever see here again.
If you want to talk to a person before listing, email support@venuevows.co.uk. It reaches us directly.
Free to list. You only pay when you decide a wedding is worth bidding for.
