Born from frustration with the opaque and time-consuming traditional venue booking process
VenueVows was founded on a simple but revolutionary premise: wedding venue booking in the UK is broken, and couples deserve better. After witnessing countless friends and family members struggle through months of endless venue research, countless phone calls, and opaque pricing structures, we knew there had to be a better way.
Traditional venue booking forces couples into an exhausting process of individually contacting dozens of venues, often waiting weeks for responses, only to receive vague quotes that don't properly reflect the true cost. Meanwhile, many of Britain's most spectacular venues, from historic castles in the Scottish Highlands to charming barns in the Cotswolds, remain undiscovered by couples who would absolutely love them.
Our platform flips this antiquated system on its head. Instead of couples chasing venues, venues compete for couples. Instead of opaque pricing, we demand transparent, detailed proposals. Instead of lengthy back-and-forth negotiations, couples receive competitive bids that showcase exactly what each venue offers and at what price.
VenueVows is an independent UK business, founded and run by Christopher Goodchild in Royal Wootton Bassett, Wiltshire.
